This weekend the Cape Town International Boat Show  will again attract crowds to the V& A Waterfront. The show starts today, Friday 20th and ends on Sunday. The boat show started 17 years ago at the Green Point Stadium, to showcase the work that have brought Cape Town boat builders world-wide fame. Since then, it has grown to such an extent that it is often referred to as the granddaddy of boat shows on the African continent.

This year one of the largest-ever water displays of powered cruisers, yachts and catamarans, marine electronics, fishing and leisure craft, stand-up paddle gear, are among the many products on show.

This boat show is the only exhibition endorsed by the Marine Industry Association of South Africa and attracts thousands of visitors every year.
