Fishing, hunting and many different kinds of shooting are the main attractions of the FeHoVa show, which is growing into one of Central Europe’s prime outdoor shows … and that is without the appeal of the beautiful city of Budapest.
Earlier this year nearly 300 exhibitors from 18 countries displayed their hunting and fishing products and services over the course of 4 days to a total of 55 000 visitors at HUNGEXPO – the Budapest Congress and Exhibition Centre. Nearly half (44%) of the visitors were anglers and 66% of the visitors attended the show specifically to buy products from exhibitors. There is quite an overlap in visitor interests as 45% of the hunters say they are also anglers.
Several international brands – including Rapala, Shimano, Spro, Okuma, Prologic, Storm, Savage Gear, Gamakatsu, etc. – were among the fishing tackle brands from over 50 manufacturers on show. Prospective exhibitors for next year’s show can enjoy an early bird discount until October 1st.
Some of the highlights of the 2019 show included a fly-tying competition, an exhibition of big game hunting trophies and rare and unique game species from across the world and even an international dog show.
The next show will be hosted between 13-16 February 2020 and visitors can again expect to see plenty of baits, fishing rods, a broad range of accessories from clothes, through whistles to knives and the latest products from gunsmiths arms dealers and bow manufacturers.
And many tour operators keen to show visitors the sights of Hungary and its capital city!
